We are now accepting applications for Christmas assistance. Catholic Charities of Southeastern Ohio provides a Christmas gift assistance program every year. The program is for families with low to no income, or any family needing a little extra help for the holidays. Applications are available from now until November 4th. You can come to the Sacred Heart Center of Hope during our business hours to complete an application, or you can print the application attached to this page to fill out and bring in to the center.

 

You will need to bring the following with you to the center to turn in your application:

• Your personal identification

• Contact number(s)

• Proof of physical address

• Proof of income for all working household members

• Proof of custody (Health insurance cards/Custody agreement)

• Birth certificate or social security card for each individual in the household

• Your completed application

Once your application is complete and has been turned in, the pickup dates are December 19th and 20th between 10am and 2pm. Pickup will be located at the Sacred Heart Center of Hope - 430 Slack Street, Steubenville, OH. Wrapping paper, tape, tags, and bows will be available at the time of pickup. Each child will have a labeled black bag with the unwrapped gift(s). There will be space made available to you at the center if you would like to wrap them before you leave.
